Today is a very important day in Ireland, it's the national holiday. 

Some activities to do today:

Hello my dear students!

Como ya sabéis, vamos a estar unas semanas sin clase. Tanto por Tok App como por este blog iré subiendo lo que vamos a hacer en clase de inglés y de profundización cada semana. Iré dividiendo la tarea por días para que sea igual que si estuviéramos en el cole. Os pido que seáis responsables y hagáis las tareas.

Cuando terminéis cada ejercicio, echadle una foto que se vea lo mejor posible y la enviáis a la siguiente dirección de correo electrónico: azorinteacherbea@gmail.com
En el asunto escribid English 5º y en el mensaje indicadme: nombre y apellidos del alumno/a y adjuntad la foto del ejercicio. Yo os responderé con la tarea corregida a la mayor brevedad. Podéis ir enviándome la tarea cada día o todo junto al final de la semana, pero os recomiendo la primera opción.

Si tenéis cualquier duda, pregunta, etc... podéis enviarme un mensaje a esa misma dirección. Antes de eso, como siempre os digo, leed muy bien los enunciados para salir de dudas.

Esta semana: terminaremos el tema 4.

Día 1: Hoy seguiremos practicando el pasado de los verbos irregulares.
-Repasa el pasado de los verbos irregulares (está en la libreta y en el Class Book, page 44). 
-Practicamos haciendo: Activity Book page 43: 1, 2 and 3. 

Por si acaso faltasteis cuando escribimos el pasado de los verbos irregulares en el cuaderno, os lo dejo aquí:

Día 2: Hoy empezaremos el repaso del tema 4 entero.
-Repasa el pasado de los verbos regulares y el de los irregulares, y también el vocabulario de los trabajos (Jobs). 
-Canción del Activity Book, page 44: 1. El audio lo encontraréis aquí: SONG UNIT 4
Luego os autocorregís con la página 45 del Class Book.
-Activity Book page 45: ejercicios 1, 2 y 3. El 3 lo hacéis escuchando este audio: EXERCISE 3 PAGE 45.

Día 3 Hoy seguiremos el repaso añadiéndole algo de dificultad. 
-Class Book page 44. Hacemos el ejercicio 3 en la libreta. Primero miramos las líneas del tiempo de la vida de estas dos personas. Tenéis que construir frases cambiando de presente a pasado. Debajo tenéis el ejemplo de Louis Pasteur hecho por mí, copiadlo en la libreta y haced lo mismo con Albert Edelfelt.

Profundización:
Como ya sabéis, este martes es Saint Patrick’s Day! Atentos a TokApp y al blog el martes porque os enviaré actividades muy chulas para celebrar este día tan especial en Irlanda. 
Por cierto, terminaremos el librito de Irlanda y los tréboles a la vuelta, don’t worry! 

Para los que no me entregaron el trabajo de Irlanda (un lugar / persona célebre), tenéis hasta el miércoles para enviármelo a la cuenta de correo que os he indicado antes. Ya sabéis que se entregaba el jueves de la semana pasada, esta es la última oportunidad!!!

Present simple and present continuous

Hi guys!  
We start Unit 1 with the present tenses.


PRESENT SIMPLE --> For routines.
Es el que usamos casi siempre Lo usamos cuando queremos decir que hacemos algo normalmente, es parte de nuestra rutina: on Mondays, every day, always, sometimes... 

-I play hockey on Saturdays.
-She does gymnastics every day. 
-We sometimes go swimming.



Pero, ¿y si quiero decir que lo estoy haciendo ahora mismo? Ya no puedo usar el present simple, usaré el siguiente...


PRESENT CONTINUOUS --> For an action in the moment. (algo que pasa en ese momento, en directo)
Lo uso cuando quiero decir que lo estoy haciendo ahora, hoy o  en una foto: now, at the moment, today, in this picture...




-I'm playing hockey now.
-She's doing gymnastics today.
-We are going swimming.
